ClickAtell Provider

I was just starting to work on an assembly to do this with ClickATell here in the US.  I was also looking at making it compatible with SMSGUI.  I had not looked at it as an SSIS task..  I am working on a fairly in-depth logging task myself for SSIS.  This looks good.  Good work!

Thanks a lot. I have added Clickatell and the possibility to define custom provider parameters (Clickatell needs an "api id"). When you have an account, I hope you can test clickatell?

Hi,

I was trying to use this task with ClickATell here in India after having created an account with ClickATell. The task throws back an error saying "Authentication Failure".

Hi,

Did you set the API ID as provider parameter?
ClickATell needs a username, password and the api id for authentication.

Cheers,

Yes I did

According to the task these are the inputs I have provided

Under Properties tab

Username: The username I have created for myself under Clickatell as login account

Password: The password for my Clickatell Login account.

Recipient: the mobiled number prefixed with the country code

Service: Clickatell

SMS Type: Standard

Delay: <blank>

Sencer: <blank>

Text: Hi

Under Provider Paramenters:

Name: api_id : the value which was created when I selected the SMTP API under Connections in the Clickatell website.

After providing all these values I clicked on the Test botton and the same Authentication Failure Error poped up.
